Villamartin is probably one of the best known Golf Courses in the Southern Costa Blanca. Since 1972 villas, townhouses and apartments were built around the Golf Course.

The 18-hole championship course has hosted the Mediterranean open as well as many other prestigious competitions. The clubhouse has bars and restaurants, one of which is beside a large picturesque pool where dinner dances are held on summer nights. At 6037 metre and par 72 there are some great holes and plenty of expensive eye-catching mansions on the courses perimeter.

Villamartin golf course also hosted the Spanish Open and is well known for the quality of its facilities.

Villamartin is noted for its splendour and as soon as you wander through the entrance gardens complete with fountain and statue of an angelic lady golfer this is very evident!

The 303 metre par four 7th and the 18th are challenging and ingenious with doglegs and elevated cork tees.

The Plaza of Villamartin offers the visitor a selected range of restaurants and bars to choose from.

Villamartin lays approximately 3km from the sea and 10km south of Torrvieja.
